A Look Forward

Dear Generations Family,

We have been at work behind the scenes to bring you an updated Vision, Mission and Values, along with a brand-spanking-new website. This thought-provoking process caused us to reflect on where we’ve been, and more importantly, where we want to go.

Decades ago my father and founder, Wendell White, had a revolutionary idea for senior living that put the family at the center of the experience. He built a flourishing alternative to traditional senior care, creating happy, beautiful communities where people genuinely feel a sense of home.

Our Mission, bringing Generations together in the joy of living and everything it means to be human, serves as a continual reminder of why we are here. We believe there’s no expiration date on passion, purpose, growth, and joy, and we’re here to help people find theirs.

Our Vision, to be the place people want to be to live better, longer. The healthiest and happiest communities know — people from all ages were meant to be together. Our vision promises a place to live which fosters physical, mental, and spiritual growth according to the needs and preferences of each individual. My parents recently made a move to a Generations Community, fully enjoying the vitality and independence Wendell helped create for all our residents.

Our Values form the bedrock of what we do and how we do it on a daily basis. At our core, we are a family caring for families:

And we have a lot of fun doing it!

Our mission excites us and gives us a clear vision as we move forward; our values keep us tethered to what matters most on a daily basis. We hope you’ll be just as excited as we are.
