Wheatland Village is a clean, well maintained, all service facility. My mother and cousin reside there. They love the place. The cost is quite a bit lower than the last facility they lived in. Everyone has been very kind and helpful. My mother says she is happy here. It did not take long to get an apartment once they decided to move to Wheatland.

My grandmother lives here and we love going to visit! The food in the restaurant is amazing. We have been here for Easter brunch buffet, Halloween trick or treating, fall festival, and many more! My small kids love all the fun things throughout the year and visiting grandmas!

This review is for my Dad, who moved into Wheatland in September in the Retirement Living wing. The move was very smooth and all the staff were extremely helpful with any questions or issues we had. I would recommend the one bedroom with a den unit over the one bedroom. The layout of the main living area is comfortable and just the right amount of space. Having the den is nice for the extra space and good area to setup his computer work station and added storage. The people who live there are so friendly and quite a few introduced themselves while we were moving him in.Also the amenities and dining area are top notch. Overall, my Dad is happy with the decision to move to Wheatland (which was very hard for him). He is enjoying the social aspects and meal flexibility, to either cook for himself or dine at the restaurant.

I am reviewing as the family member who has the primary dealings with Wheatland staff regarding my resident father-in-law.Wheatland seems to be competitively priced compared to the other facilities that I toured but seems to have the best amenities and facilities. The management team is very transparent and have excellent communications. They are very proactive and do not hesitate to listen to family member concerns. They respond quickly. The facility is very well maintained and modern. Recent upgrade includes enhance cable and high-speed internet to all residences.Monthly billing is accurate and easy to understand. The food service is quite good. Restaurant quality and broad menu. The housekeeping and laundry services are high quality and reliable.Transportation for medical appointments is well coordinated and reliable.Nice fitness facility and excellent fitness coordinator. There are plenty of activities, entertainment and outings schedule to keep folks active and engaged. The health care staff is quite good. Full time nurse and health care workers are professional and caring. Regular assisted living resident assessments help ensure that necessary level care is met. They can order, store and administer all doctor prescribed medicines and supplement. Assisted living residents are all given pendants that when activated get very quick responses from the health care team.My Father-in-law has been in residence for a year and feels quite comfortable and well cared for by the entire staff. My impression is that Wheatland Village staff puts a great deal of importance on family members. Knowing that my FIL is content and trusting that he is in good hands removes a great deal of stress in my life.

I love this place! We recently decided to enroll my grandma here and she’s loving it! She mentions one employee Harley Bier a lot and how comfortable she feels around her! Unfortunately I live in a different state so i can not tip her but i highly suggest if you or a loved one visits to see and tip Ms. Bier! Sending love!

The staff are committed to providing quality care. Wheatland Village is a gorgeous place to retire. The residents are the best in Walla Walla. The nursing staff are compassionate and go out of their way to make the residents feel at home. And finally, the kitchen staff are very accommodating and always a pleasure to visit with.

Just a whole lot of goodness there. The apartment my mom has is just fantastic. I think all of the extra places and activities available are above and beyond what I expected for a nice assisted living format. It is a place that a person will pay quite a bit to have those many extra features but if at all possible it would be my choice for anyone. The ground are kept so nice as well.
