Experience Vitality at Generations
At Generations, we believe that holistic engagement and curiosity are key to thriving. That is why we place such a high priority on our signature Vitality programs, which foster physical, mental, and spiritual growth according to the needs and preferences of each individual.
Lifelong learning is fostered through activities like book groups, choirs, and even college courses, delivered in partnership with local educational resources, contributing to neural pathway building and challenging intellectual goals.
Fitness thrives at Generations, where our communities may include everything from swimming pools and guided senior fitness programs to golf courses and ping pong—even individualized fitness plans to help residents achieve goals and chart improvements.
And to foster residents’ spirituality, most communities include a dedicated chapel and on-staff chaplain (varies by community), and program offerings which include meditation sessions and mindfulness exercises. We encourage family involvement, and organize many multigenerational social events to bring extended families together.
Enriching the Mind, Body, and Spirit
Here, Vitality means whole-person wellness, for residents and team members. Through meaningful, personalized programs we work to enrich the mind, body, and spirit while celebrating life and having fun together. At every Generations community, you’ll find a wide variety of activities including education courses, book clubs, writing groups, daily fitness classes, musical entertainment, meditation and mindfulness opportunities, religious services, and outdoor pursuits.
In our Memory Care communities, we endeavor to provide a structured yet flexible day of programming that provides time for leisure, purposeful work, restorative rest, fresh air, and brain health activities. Our goal is to offer choices and preserve the independence and dignity of those living with dementia, in a caring, home-like environment.
Our Vitality Mindset
Each month we explore a Culture Topic related to wellness and personal growth, with talking points, tips, and ideas for activities to explore during the month. Through monthly Generations Vitality Team meetings and additional fitness training through the Stronger U Senior Fitness certification program, we take pride in offering continuing education and training opportunities for our Vitality leaders. We believe that everyone has passion, purpose, growth, and joy within them, and our Vitality teams strive to help people find theirs.

We embrace the diverse physical, intellectual and spiritual needs and interests of Generations residents and staff.
